Positioned just a short distance from Gerringong, this remarkable home demonstrates what is possible when architecture, landscape and construction work together.
The home is completely off-grid, incorporating 64 solar panels, double glazing and a naturally passive design that makes the most of its north-facing aspect. Carefully considered materials and expansive glazing create a strong connection to the landscape, while the infinity pool and elegant cantilevered decks extend the living spaces into the spectacular surroundings.
The site presented its own challenges, with the property positioned around 500 metres from the main road and limited access throughout construction. QBC's ability to adapt and carefully manage the build was critical to bringing the project to life.
Working alongside Hugh Gordon Architecture, QBC Constructions delivered a sophisticated home designed to provide both a sanctuary from the elements and an extraordinary connection to the South Coast landscape.
